Yup, it’s another sustainability blog!
You’d think that the sheer number of green-living, zero-waste, all-natural blogs would have discouraged me from adding to the mix. But I always feel like there’s room for another voice, especially in a conversation this important. I recognize that there will be a lot of overlap between my posts and the information shared by other bloggers. But in a way, that’s a good thing! I hope that by you being here, you’re at least curious about what you can do differently to reduce your impact on the environment. And by seeing the same ideas and products over and over again, you might grow a curiosity large enough to pursue them.
Now, I’ve said this over and over again, but I’d like to reiterate one last time that I’m not an expert in green living. In fact, I’m still learning about sustainable living too. There are always new products on the market to try. New research publications that suggest that we should alter our behavior in a different way. And something in us that is always stirring up new personal resolves to be committed to the preservation of the natural world.
Undoubtedly, there are some of you reading this that are far more dedicated to sustainable living than I am (in which case, kudos! The world needs more people like you). So I feel it’s only fair to disclose that this blog, at least for now, is mostly for those of you that just don’t know where to start when it comes to making greener choices. But if you are one of those extraordinary humans that make their own cleaning supplies and don’t use single-use plastics, please feel free to participate in this blog by reaching out and getting into contact with me, I’d love your input!
So for those of you who don’t know where to start or even those of you who want to offer me words of advice, welcome.
